As of Tuesday, March 17th, there have been 3 confirmed cases in Athens-Clarke County. Athens is doing the best they can to keep people home and safe from the fast-spreading virus.

The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government has created a Coronavirus page on their website to keep the community up to date on the latest changes, closures, and assistance being offered in the community. There have been changes in most local businesses with some offering delivery, shipping, and curbside pickup to help citizens as we face this pandemic. It is so important to support your local businesses during this time. While this difficult situation has affected every person differently, the small businesses in Athens have lost a significant portion of their business as school has now been moved to online for the remainder of the semester.
